Beyond Remote, with John Hagel
I’ve had the good fortune to be learning from John Hagel’s wisdom over the last 25 years or so. First from his books, and then from him directly, from his writings, speeches, and from working together at Deloitte Consulting. His insights are world changing, and he has the ears of global leaders to make that level of impact.
We connected last month and discussed the work we are doing with Remotely, about our view of the world and what we need to do to manifest the world in which we would like to live. While the catalyst of the pandemic is what accelerated our socioeconomic transformation, there are many of us who have been working to create a much bigger change for decades. Conscious Capitalism, ROWE, Working Out Loud, Human Centric Work, Self Management and so much more leads us to a world of greater transparency, truthiness, and trust.
Or as John eloquently put it, for the last few centuries, fear has driven our pre-dominant narrative and machinations. This is why he believes Psychology is more important than Strategy and Technology. This is why he believes we need we need new heartsets to match our mindsets. And these insights are why I respect him so and am so grateful to call him a friend and a colleague.
Join us Tuesday November 10, at 9am PST to discuss the transformation to increased remote work, and what is beyond remote. Please read the articles and come with some great questions – you don’t get this sort of access every day!
